Identify an individual to whom you would like to give constructive feedback and write down your answers to the following questions: 1) What feedback do you have for them, regarding a specific behavior? 2) What evidence do you have that supports your feedback (e.g., observations by you, their peers, their clients, or their direct reports)? 3) What are two or three specific incidents where the individual demonstrated the behavior in question? 4) For each of these instances, what was the impact of their behavior? 5) What is the desired behavior or actions that you would like to see from them going forward?
