What is an "intrapreneur"?

The Challenge

Intrapreneurs are dreamers, risk takers, and leaders inside their organization. They are inspired, motivated, and love thinking outside of the box. Think of a project, product, service, or idea you would like to share with your team or department. Then, discuss it with them at your next team meeting.

Why do this?

Use your voice and share your thoughts and ideas. Your organization needs innovative thinkers to help it grow and continue to be relevant.

This act is part of your long-term effort to position your organization for future success. By sharing your own ideas, you will inspire others in the organization to do the same.

What’s next?

Schedule time with your executive team (or whomever you report to) and share your ideas in a positive manner. Your suggestions will demonstrate your ability to lead, take risks, and be creative.
