How can you declutter your after-work hours?
The Challenge
Write down all of the social commitments you've made for the upcoming week. (Admittedly, these days those commitments are more likely to be video calls than parties.) Are you looking forward to each one of them? If you had to cancel one, which would it be?
Why do this?
Clutter has the same effect whether it appears on your to-do list or in your physical space: it's stressful. If you're not careful, things start piling up all around you--in your work, your personal life, on your desk and in your closet. (By the way, if you noticed that this challenge is similar to another one you've done, you're right. It is! We developed a whole series on decluttering, and this challenge is part of that series.)
Spending time every now and then to make one part of your life a little simpler can do wonders for your overall peace of mind.
