How do you create a culture of integrity when your team is working remotely?

The Challenge

Generate a list of at least three behaviors through which you demonstrate integrity to your team. Evaluate your list to see how well you model these behaviors to your remote workforce.

Why do this?

An effective leader models ethical behavior. Remote leadership requires strategies that translate well to virtual interactions.

Being able to demonstrate integrity through various platforms (in person, virtual, etc.) will enhance your ability to build and lead your team.

What’s next?

Identify one way in which you could improve your "integrity-demonstrating" behaviors to better work in a remote setting. For example, perhaps in the office it was okay to be five minutes late to a meeting because you saw each other in the hallway beforehand, but now that you're meeting over Zoom those five minutes make you seem disorganized.
